Chief Innovation & Research Officer

With a career rooted in both business strategy and behavioral science, Hany co-founded GovAllies to help leaders drive transformation that works — not just on paper, but in practice. He brings a unique perspective shaped by senior executive experience, a doctorate in psychology, and decades of success leading multidisciplinary teams across IT, business process, and human capital initiatives.

Prior to GovAllies, Hany founded Suntiva, a firm known for integrating technology, people, and process to enable lasting change. Under his leadership, Suntiva thrived and was acquired in 2021. Earlier in his career, Hany held leadership roles at Fortune 500 consulting firms, where he led research exploring why large-scale IT initiatives often fail — identifying human adoption, not technology, as the key barrier to success. Hany served as faculty at Georgetown University’s Institute for Transformational leadership for 20 years and contributed to helping hundreds of industry and government leaders reach their highest leadership potential.

At GovAllies, Hany brings this insight to our clients, to help unlock the full potential of their mission and ensure that innovation is both strategic and sustainable.
